These filters are recommended for filtering town mains water and are commonly used as replacement cartridges for systems per images 2-5.

1uM sediment filters remove / reduce dirt, debris, sand, silt, clay, particles and turbidity in water

0.5uM nominal coconut shell carbon block filters remove / reduce chlorine, volatile organic compounds as well as a wide range of impurities / chemicals in water and improve taste and odour as well as micro-organisms [giardia, cryptosporidium and blastocysts]

This filter set is recommended for treated town mains water and is not suitable for rainwater tank water, as the filters are not silver-infused for antibacterial protection. If you're looking for a similar set designed for use with rainwater, we recommend our 1 micron spun sediment filter paired with a 0.5 micron silver-infused carbon block for enhanced bacterial resistance.
