Easily clips onto to garden hose connector to filter water for drinking and due to being a 0.5uM nominal silver infused carbon block this filter can be used to filter rainwater tank water. Great 10"x2.0" portable in line water filter for camping, caravanning, mobile homes and outdoor use with lead free brass garden hose clip on connectors.

This caravan filtration system can remove sediment (dirt, dust, rust, fine sand) but if sediment levels are high a sediment pre-filter should be used before this filter to extend its life as this is a very fine filter. Will also remove / reduce chlorine, volatile organic compounds, pesticides, herbicides, chemicals and improves taste, odour and colouration.

To remove pathogens and parasitic micro-organisms and filterable cysts such as cryptosporidium, giardia, blastocysts you need a 0.5uMn / 1uMa filter which this filter is rated to.

Chemical / chlorine removal: Will filter approximately 4,000 litres of water before needing to be replaced if sediment level are low i.e. town mains water or tank water with minimal sediment.
