Inline poly spun sediment water filter for fridges + coolers + bubblers

This inline poly spun sediment filter is compatible with all fridge brands using inline filters, as well as coolers, bubblers, ice makers, and coffee machines.

• Fits standard ¼" (6mm) outside diameter hose with quick-fit connectors
• Filters sediment particles down to 5 micron

Important Notes:

• This is a particulate sediment filter only. It does not reduce chemicals, dissolved solids, or other impurities. It is typically used as a pre-filter before a chemical reduction filter such as carbon or a carbon/KDF55 media blend.
  
• Requires ¼” NPT threaded to ¼” tube (OD ±6mm) quick-fit connectors. Apply 6–10 wraps of plumbing tape to the threaded side before installation.

Regulatory Compliance:

Under current standards, any water filter system operating under constant pressure—regardless of brand or supplier—must be fitted with an AS3497-approved pressure-reducing valve and back-flow prevention device (see image 7). These components are listed separately and available for purchase.

We also recommend installing a leak detector shut-off device (see image 8) with any water filter or reverse osmosis system under pressure. This is also available for purchase.
