This return-style faucet is plumbed in a way that water flows through the tap first, then back through your filters, and finally exits through the spout. This setup ensures that your filters, housings, tubing, and fittings are not under constant water pressure — they’re only pressurized when the tap is actively in use. This helps prolong the life of your filter components and reduces risk of leaks.

According to regulatory standards any water filter system under constant water pressure [regardless of the brand or supplier] is required to be fitted with an AS3497 approved pressure reducing valve and back-flow prevention device which we have listed separately.
