The carbon block pre-filter supplied in this filter pack is a Matrikx CTO high volume carbon filter and will effectively reduce / remove chlorine up to +/- 30,000 litres and remove chloramines. Standard carbon block filters will only reduce chlorine in water to +/- 10,000 litres and we have standard filter packs listed at lower prices here if you don't need high volume ones.
