Standard pre-filters will filter +/- 10,000 litres of water before needing to be changed [based on total flow of pure + waste water] whereas the high flow combination of pre-filters will allow +/- 35,000 litres to be filtered before the pre-filters need to be changed.

We supply these systems with a manual first flush valve (see image 13) so you can direct the first bit of water produced out the waste line then through the RO to which allows resin to last longer. This flush valve can also be set to increase your operating waste ratio which is required in some areas where the TDS of the local water is high.

*Our 66 LPH / 1,520 LPD / 400 GPD RO unit is supplied as standard with two RO membranes connected in parallel to maximise flow rate. If water purity is your priority, we can configure the unit so that the output (PRODUCE) of the first RO membrane feeds into the inlet of the second. This setup significantly improves the purity of the RO water and extends the life of your DI resin—particularly beneficial in areas with high TDS levels, such as Western Australia or other regions reliant on groundwater sources. Alternatively, if you’re in a region where water is scarce and the TDS is relatively low, we can configure the unit so that the waste from the first RO membrane feeds into the inlet of the second. This will slightly reduce purity but substantially lower the wastewater ratio. Please advise us at the time of ordering if you would like either of these custom configurations. Otherwise, units will be supplied in the standard parallel-membrane setup.

The higher volume option of 400GPD / 1,520 litres per 24 hours unit has 2x 200GPD RO membranes connected in parallel and with this option we only recommend the high volume pre-filters so have not made the standard option ones available with the listing.

SYSTEM INCLUDES:

• Powder coated, mild steel folded bracket
• 3x 10"x2.5" white or clear tinted filter housings [vertical ones]
• 1x 10"x2.5" 0.5uM poly spun sediment filter
• 1x 10"x2.5" selected carbon block pre-filter
• 1x 10"x2.5" jumbo DI resin filter [2.5x as much resin as in line post filters]
  
• 1x high quality reverse osmosis membrane [flow rate depends on selection]
• 3x meters of high pressure 1/4" | 6mm water filter tubing
• 1x opening + closing housing ring spanner
• 1x standard** sink mixer diverter connector
• 2x garden tap connectors for 1/2" + 3/4" taps
• 1x manual first flush valve

**Standard mixer taps refer to a mixer tap where you can unscrew the aerator on the end of the tap and will be left with either a 20mm female thread or a 23mm male thread. If you have the 20mm female thread you'll need to use the inside to outside thread converter [supplied with the diverter valve] to connect but if you have a 23mm male thread after removing the aerator you won't need to use the thread converter

Easy to carry around and great for topping up freshwater aquariums, caravanning, camping and home use + produces 190-1,520 litres per day depending on mains water pressure, feed water quality and system selected

The reverse osmosis process results in the purest possible water and results in the total dissolved solids (TDS) count dropping by between +/- 99.9% and 100% with a post membrane DI

This purification process is commonly considered to be the most effective method of purification available to the public, and will consistently produce the lowest level of contaminant.

RO will reduce/remove all of contaminant in the feed water including chlorine, fluoride, volatile organic compounds, disinfection by-products and heavy metals

All of the parts that come into contact with the water in our systems are manufactured from BPA free food grade plastics. All of the filters and parts that we source are of the highest quality and meet the required quality standards.

Membrane brand/s of the membrane supplied with the system may vary depending from those depicted what we have in stock but will be of equivalent quality

This RO system is a multi-stage pumpless system. It is designed to operate on mains pressure and will produce with feed water pressure of 45psi or greater.

This RO unit has a 36 month warranty which is subject to our warranty terms and conditions and is installed with a pressure reducing valve and leak shut off device
