5uM nominal silver carbon block filters remove / reduce bacteria as well as a wide range of chemicals and volatile organic compounds in water

0.5uM nominal silver carbon block filters remove / reduce the same as the 5uM one but also parasitic micro-organisms like giardia, cryptosporidium, blastocysts

Our recommended combination for tank water is a 1uM sediment followed by a 0.5uM silver infused carbon and to change these filters every 6-months for optimal protection
