This listing is for the plumbed in (Mains/POU) Waterworks SD5 cooler, this unit is designed to be plumbed in directly to a mains water supply and will automatically refill itself, no bottles required. This unit has been Watermark Certified for use throughout Australia and may be installed on its own or with a filtration system of your choice. This unit includes a large 12 litre internal reservoir as well as larger chilling and heating chambers as compared to the smaller bench-top units. Available or included features are listed below: 

This unit is available in two styles, "Ambient & Cold" which produces water at room temperature and chilled, or "Hot & Cold" water which produces both heated and chilled water. Units fitted with a water heated are factory set at about 88 degrees, this is not adjustable.

With the purchase of this water cooler we also offer the option to include a filtration system of your choice, this allows you to filter/purify the water before it enters the cooler. We have listed our recommended filter units in the drop down menu, however any system that we offer in our store can be modified to suit and supplied with this cooler, just send us a message. Please note that filter systems may be shipped separately to the cooler due to packaging restraints. Details on the filter options are per below:

This listing includes a 350kpa pressure reducing and non-return valve as required by Australian Standards AS3497. We also recommend that a leak detector shut off device is installed with any water filter and / or reverse osmosis system which is under pressure which we sell separately

Its performance capacity is substantial, chilling 6.6 L per hour to 10 degrees C. The Hot/Cold model has a heating capacity of 5 L per hour at 88 degrees C. For safety and compliance, the unit includes a 350 kPa Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) as required by Australian Standards AS3497.

The SD5 is designed for easy plumbing and comes with all water-contact parts made from BPA free food grade plastics. You can customize your purchase with one of five filtration options. These range from simple, low-capacity In Line GAC/Waterworks Aquanet carbon filters to a high-performance Twin Filter Unit (using 0.5 um sediment and carbon) or the Reverse Osmosis System for maximum purity. The cooler is backed by a full 3-year Waterworks warranty, and the seller recommends adding a separate leak detector for enhanced safety.
