These filters are recommended for filtering portable town mains water and are commonly used as replacement filters of pre-filter cartridges for systems per images 7 to 11 as either mains water drinking water filters or as pre-filters to our ROC range of compact reverse osmosis systems

Due to the compact size of these filters and how fine the Pentek CBC-5 filters to it's recommended to have a 1uM sediment pre-filter

The 5uM carbon block will reduce / remove chlorine to +/- 4,000L, the 0.5uM heavy metals CBC to +/- 5,000L and the 0.5uM Pentair Pentek CBC-5 to around 7,500L

5uM carbon filters remove / reduce chlorine, odour, taste, volatile organic compounds, and a wide range of chemicals, pesticides and other impurities in water

0.5uM nominal and 1uM absolute carbon block filters remove above impurities as well as micro-organisms [giardia, cryptosporidium and blastocysts]
