We have purposefully designed this system with minimal electronics and don’t use solenoids for longevity and less repairs and maintenance over the life of the unit. Replacement parts for this unit are easy to source, cost effective, not difficult to replace and give very few issues whereas in our experience these units built with PC boards and flashy electronics can become difficult to maintain in future. The picture in this listing is a stock item pictures and the unit you receive may look slightly different i.e. the membranes are normally mounted on the back and not top and some systems may have one pump instead of two pumps depending on the production flow rate required.

The reverse osmosis process produces the purest possible water and results in the total dissolved solids (TDS) count dropping by between 85% and 95% depending on environmental factors and system design. This purification process is commonly considered to be the most effective method of purification available to the public, and will consistently produce water with the lowest level of contaminant. Where water of a higher standard (99-100% contaminant reduction) is required, Mixed resin post filters may be fitted on request for an extra charge.

This system will produce between +/- 500 and +/- 4,000 litres per 24 hours depending on the system selected and the purity level required [note that local water pressure and quality of the feed water can cause this estimate to vary]. This unit is tested on a town water supply, if you plan to use this unit on any other kind of supply (bore, creek, tank, etc) we strongly recommend performing basic water tests (TDS, Salinity, Hardness / Calcium and Iron) to determine whether the water is within the systems operating parameters. If you are unsure as to whether this unit suits your needs, feel free to send us a message with any details you have on your water, a TDS reading is a good place to start and we sell a basic TDS reader here

Reverse Osmosis will reduce all of contaminant found in the feed water. Different types of contaminant have different reduction rates, see the below table for the effective reduction rates of common contaminants. Note that reduction rates may vary for alternative compounds of the chemicals listed below and different environmental factors.

*Systems may be supplied with one or two pumps and pump flow rates may vary but will achieve at least the advertised production flow rate given minimal inlet feed water pressure. These units have low pressure switches to protect the pump from running dry and you'll need at least 20psi inlet water pressure for the low pressure switch to engage the pump [if you don't the low pressure switch will need to be bridged for the pomp to work].

The system is supplied as a complete unit, all you will need to do is connect the 1/2"BSP feed water inlet, product water and waste water outlets and power to operate the unit and where feed water is particularly bad extra pre-filtration may be required, please inquire to see if this may apply to you.

If you need delivery to a regional area a delivery surcharge may apply depending on the cost of freight so if you're not sure please contact us and ask whether we can include free delivery to you area and if not what would your delivery cost surcharge be before buying this item.

We supply these units with a 4-way shut off valve, a non return valve, a low pressure switch and a high pressure switch so that the unit can be setup to run automatically if you install a float valve [not included] in the tank you'll be using this unit to fill you may need to purchase a small buffer tank if you set this up and the waste is not shutting off in your environment. These small buffer tanks range from $49.50 for a 2 litre to $149.50 for a 12 litre tank and aren't always needed so it's best to test whether the waste shuts of in your setup and if not then add the buffer tank.

This RO unit carries a full 36 month warranty on all parts supplied in the original order, this is subject to our standard terms and conditions listed in our operating manual

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase please contact us so that we can try to resolve your concerns

We pre-assemble these units however before dispatching them we flush the membranes, leak test the unit, test the 4-way shut off valve and the low and high pressure switches and record all performance results. Thereafter we pack and dispatch the unit and this process takes 2 working days excluding the delivery of the unit which depends on where you are located. Paying extra for express post on this item will upgrade you from standard post to TNT Road Express if they service your region but if you are very reginal we recommended not paying extra for express post as you most likely won't receive your order any sooner.

Why Choose this Commercial Reverse Osmosis Water Filter?

This Commercial Reverse Osmosis Water Filter is a high-flow water purification system specifically designed for professional, high-demand environments like dental laboratories, commercial kitchens, or large marine/fish tanks. It is a robust, reliable unit that is leak tested and performance rated locally in QLD, Australia. It is engineered for longevity, featuring minimal electronics and avoiding solenoids to ensure cost-effective, straightforward maintenance throughout its life.

Compact Design and Powerful Performance

This industrial system is built to provide significant daily water output, producing between ±500 and ±4,000 litres per 24 hours, depending on the model selected. The RO process is highly effective, consistently achieving a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) reduction of between 85% and 95%. For requirements demanding 99100% contaminant reduction, mixed resin post-filters are available as an extra upgrade. The unit's powerful filtration is achieved through a comprehensive setup: three 20in×2.5in "Big Blue" pre-filter housings contain one 20in×2.5in poly spun sediment filter and two 20in×2.5in carbon block filter cartridges (combinations may be advised based on source water quality). The system offers exceptional reduction rates for common contaminants, including 100% for Fluoride, Magnesium, Potassium, and Sulphate, and 99.9% for Calcium (Hardness). It utilizes reliable diaphragm booster pump/s and an array of high-quality NSF certified reverse osmosis membrane elements, all housed in a white powder-coated mild steel frame (with a 316 stainless steel upgrade available). A minimum inlet pressure of 20psi is required to engage the pump.

Seamless Integration and Safety/Compliance

The system is supplied as a complete unit, requiring only the connection of the 1/2in BSP feed water inlet, product water, waste water outlets, and power. It is equipped with essential controls like a 4-way shut off valve, non-return valve, low-pressure switch, and high-pressure switch to allow for automated operation (with a separate float valve). The unit is leak tested, switches and valves are checked, and membranes are flushed before dispatch. It is backed by a full 36-month warranty on all parts.

WATERMARK CERTIFICATION

WaterMark-certified housings are generally required where the system is being installed on a domestic town mains drinking water supply by a licensed plumber and where the installation is required to comply with the National Construction Code and applicable plumbing regulations.

For many commercial, industrial, agricultural and other non-regulated applications, WaterMark certification may not be required. However, it is the purchaser's responsibility to confirm the requirements for their intended installation.

Image 3 - 4 shows housings that are Watermark-certified, which are required for domestic household systems connected to town mains water supply.

If you require WaterMark-certified housings, please advise us at the time of ordering. These are available for an additional $75 ($25 per housing).

It is important that you notify us before your order is dispatched. Retrofitting WaterMark-certified housings after dispatch requires replacement of the housings and additional freight, which can increase the total cost to several times the original $75 upgrade.
