HIGH VOLUME RO PASSIVE COMMERCIAL REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER PURIFIER

Passive Commercial Reverse Osmosis Water Purifier System

The main image displayed is on the 20"x4.5" unit and 2nd and 3rd images show the smaller 10"x4.5" housings and filters.

Watermark certification is not required for industrial reverse osmosis (RO) systems, unless the unit is intended for use in a domestic household connected to mains water supply. In such cases, Watermark-certified housings may be necessary to comply with Australian plumbing regulations. We offer Watermark-certified housings for an additional $100, which must be requested at the time of ordering. Please note: if certification is requested after dispatch, the cost to modify and return the unit can exceed $500, due to shipping, rework, and replacement components. To avoid delays and additional charges, ensure you advise us upfront if Watermark certification is required for your installation.

NB: The main product images feature the marine-grade stainless steel bracket. If you do not select this option from the dropdown menu and instead choose the white bracket, your system will be supplied with a white-painted mild steel bracket. We have intentionally excluded the 3,800LPD/24H output option from configurations using 10"x4.5" pre-filter housings, as these smaller filters would require frequent replacement at such high volumes—making them unsuitable for sustained use at this capacity.

Our range of passive RO units for commercial applications are designed to operate at town water pressure. These systems don't require power as they have no pumps or electronic controls. This RO unit is assembled and tested in our Queensland factory before shipping to ensure proper operation.

The reverse osmosis process results in the total dissolved solids (TDS) count dropping by between 90% to 95% depending on your local environmental factors, system design and waste ratio. This purification process is commonly considered to be the most effective method of purification available, and will consistently produce water with the lowest level of contaminant. Where water of a higher standard (99-100% contaminant reduction) is required, mixed resin post filters may be fitted on request for an extra charge.

This system will produce up to 3,800 litres per day depending on your selection in the drop down menus given optimum feed water pressure. *Note: Your local water pressure and quality of the feed water can cause this estimate to vary significantly as the recommended waste ratio will be higher if you are filtering water with a TDS reading above 500ppm.

This unit is tested on a town water supply, if you plan to use this unit on any other kind of supply (bore, creek, tank etc.) we strongly recommend performing basic water tests (TDS, Salinity, Hardness/Calcium and Iron) to determine whether the water is within the systems operating parameters. If you are unsure as to whether this unit suits your needs, feel free to send us a message with any details you have on your water.

With passive systems—those without an integrated pressure pump—water pressure plays a critical role. If the pressure falls below the optimal range of 80 to 100 psi, the system will produce significantly less than the membrane’s rated output. Additionally, both water temperature and TDS levels influence flow rate. Cooler water reduces membrane production, while warmer temperatures increase output but may also affect purity levels.

Our systems are effective in removing / reducing various contaminants from your drinking water, including fluoride, chlorine, cysts, bacteria and heavy metals among many other contaminants as indicated in the table below.

*Where the feed water TDS reading is high, the minimum operating pressure of the unit may be affected. If your feed water TDS is in excess of 500ppm we recommend that you consult us before you purchase. Generally, these systems are suited to most town mains water supplies, however if you are intending to use the unit on tank or bore water we recommend testing the feed pressure and water quality first.

This system can be optioned with either 10"x4.5" or 20"x4.5" pre-filters. The 20 inch filters are capable of filtering roughly twice as much water between filter changes and the 20"x4.5" pre-filters are recommended for the higher volume units.

 SYSTEM INCLUDES:

- 1x white mild steel or 316 grade SS mounting bracket.
- 2x big blue pre-filter housings with 1"BSP ports.
- Available in either 10x4.5" or 20"x4.5" BB sizes.
- 1x 1 micron poly spun sediment disposable filter.
- 1x standard** / higher*** volume carbon block filter.
- 1x 500GPD* or 2x 500GPD* TFC NSF RO membranes.
- Appropriate ring spanner to loosen pre-filter housings.
- Installation kit including a roll of tubing and tap adapters.

* GPD = Gallons per 24 hours x 3.8 litres for litre per 24 hours.
* 500GPD + 1000GPD units use Global Aqua RO membrane.
** standard volume 10"x4.5" will remove chlorine for +/- 45,000
litres and standard volume 20"x4.5" will remove chlorine for
    +/- 100,000 litres
*** higher volume carbon  filter will remove around 3x more
chlorine than standard volume ones and chlorine needs to be
removed by the pre-filters as it damages the membrane

This RO unit carries a full 36 month warranty on all parts supplied in the original order, this is subject to our standard terms and conditions listed in our operating manual

Why Choose the High Volume RO Passive Commercial Purifier?
