This filter combination [supplied per the 2nd listing image] treats calcium in the water using polyphosphates which stops calcium from collecting around pipes or holding onto any surface significantly reducing scale build up as well as reducing sediment, chlorine and a wide range of other substances in water. This system must be kept vertical when operating it and it is best to mount it using the mounting bracket supplied with the system to avoid it toppling over.

Limescale reduction hard water conditioning filter is filled to around 50% with mineral stones and around 50% with slow dissolving polyphosphate crystals which reduces limescale build up in appliances and hot water service

A replacement filter set for this calcium lime scale build up removal filter system is sold separately and you can upgrade the twin bracket supplied with this system to a 316 marine grade bracket for $ 25 extra [leave a note at checkout if you want the bracket upgrade per image 7]

Kit includes 2x housings on a white powder coated bracket, 1x spanner, 1x 5 micron carbon block filter and 1x calcium treating filter.

If your local water has high levels of sediment you may need to use a sediment reduction filter before this unit to stop the carbon block from clogging with sediment and slowing the flow. If you need help with this let us know and we'll assist.
