We have two types of in line alkalising filters available. One uses calcite and the other magnesium to alkalise the water. If you have a preference please leave a note at checkout stating your preference. Should we not receive a note indicating your preference we will dispatch according to current stock levels.

Quick-fit connectors not included with this item as many people already have a set as they are reusable but if you don`t have a set you will need to purchase one to be able to use these filters [available here]

All filters and systems have the relevant nsf.org, wqa.org or fda.gov quality standard approvals

As mentioned earlier this item needs ¼”npt threaded to ¼” tube [outside diameter is +/- 6mm] quick-fit connectors. You’ll need to apply 6-10 laps of plumbing tape on the threaded side of the fittings before use. Most people have a roll of plumbers tape on hand but if you don’t, we sell a 15 metre roll separately here and if you buy it at the same time as this item we will send them together.
