10"x2.5" Sediment + Matrikx CTO+ and Chloramines Carbon Block Filter and Silver Infused Anti-Bacterial / Heavy Metals / Fluoride Water Filters - Reduce Sediment Fluoride Chloramine Heavy Metals

These filters are recommended for filtering potable town mains water and are commonly used as replacement cartridges for systems per images 4-6 and is a high volume filter set that will fit chlorine from mains water for +/- 40,000 litres. If you select the 0.5uM silver infused carbon block filter these filters can be used with rainwater tank water as well.

Depending on your selection the above filter combination will remove / reduce heavy metals, chloramines, chlorine, odour, taste, volatile organic compounds, and a wide range of chemicals, pesticides and other impurities in water as well as parasitic micro-organisms like giardia, cryptosporidium and blastocysts and has anti-bacterial properties

1st filter = 0.5uM fine spun filter cartridge [can swap for extra carbon filter]
2nd filter = 5uM Matrikx CTO+ for chlorine and chloramine reduction
3rd filter = you choose a 0.5uM heavy metals CBC / 0.5uM fluoride reduction CBC / 0.5uM silver infused anti-bacterial CBC

Fits all standard 10"x2.5" water filter systems and silver infused carbon block filters are good for filtering rainwater tank water

If the total removal of fluoride is very important to you then we recommend you rather use a reverse osmosis water filter as they are effective at removing 99% of fluoride from water. Standard carbon filters are less effective than reverse osmosis at removing fluoride as a longer contact time with the carbon filters is needed to reduce fluoride which you can do by running the water through your filter slowly and adding an extra carbon stage which should remove between 50% to 60% of fluoride.
